36 Weeks!

How far along: 36 Weeks
Baby size: 19-22 inches long, 6 lbs (about the size of a large cantaloupe)
Maternity clothes: I feel like I have no wardrobe. Just a rotation of a few shirts and lots of tees to get me through these next few weeks. Can't wait to have a little variety again!
Stretch marks: Nope and hoping this will hold out until the end!
Sleep: I am really trying hard not to nap during the day, especially long naps. I sleep so much better if I haven't napped. And it really is the worst to wake up in the middle of the night and just be awake for hours...
Gender: Baby Girl!
Best moment this week: Feeling like there really is light at the end of the tunnel. This baby is coming in the next...six weeks. We are really going to have a baby. It is the best and most overwhelming terrifying feeling.
Looking forward to: My baby shower! I'm excited to spend a night with the ladies in my ward celebrating baby girl and hopefully getting some good tips from all the awesome moms.
What I miss: Being invisible. Haha I kind of do miss just going to the grocery store or out without people commenting on me.
Movement: She is doing good. She surely doesn't like some ways I lay or sit these days and will let me know. It is starting to get more and more uncomfortable for me too baby girl, try not to kick too hard into my ribs and organs, that would be great :)
Food cravings: Fruit, chocolate, things that are bad for you.
Aversions: Nothing really specific, sometimes things just don't sound good. Lot's of times I feel hungry but nothing sounds satisfying.
Nursery: The crib is up, the main things are all built and we are working on some small decorations. This past week we got a picture of the D.C. temple from Etsy to put in the room and I just love it. It is so beautiful and simple and perfect. Now we are just trying to figure out how to hang things up on the wall without nails, it is tricky.
Overall: I am feeling good and can hardly believe I am in the 9th month! Yikes.
Miscellaneous: I had a doctors appointment today. From here on out they will be once a week, it is absolutely crazy! He gave me the run down about true labor and when to call the office and general guidelines of what to look for in the next few weeks so that I wouldn't be rushing to the hospital too late or, more likely, become a "frequent flyer" as he likes to put it.
