Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

RAD days are going on and on Monday the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens were free to the public. Daniel had classes and wasn't sure if he could go but encouraged me to go check it out on my own. So I woke up got ready and headed out. I got there just in time for fairly good parking. It was absolutely beautiful inside. They have a couple of different sections to walk through. My favorites were the Orchid room because it smelled heavenly in there and the Discovery Pavilion because of this flower.
They also had a great room called the Tropical Forest Conservatory that was a really neat layout and had lots of pretty ponds and waterfalls.
I ended up getting Daniel to come for just a few rooms after class had ended telling him I would give him a ride home. By that time there were a lot more people so it was a little more crowded. Overall it was such a beautiful place. It was kind of nice to explore by myself. It is nice to be able to go at your own pace.

I might have to take advantage of other opportunities even if Daniel is busy with school.
