Folsom, CA

The days in Washington and at the Redwoods felt like go, go go. There was so much to do and we did not have very much time in either place so we really wanted to pack in all the fun we could. We definitely needed some down time (and to get some laundry done) and that is exactly what Folsom had in store. We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Barrick in their home for a couple of days. We did lots of laundry, with the help of Grandma Barrick. I learned how to make the cinnamon rolls that Daniel loves and Daniel learned how to cut up a whole chicken.
We had a nice dinner with Garth, Bethany and Aaron while we were there. It was nice to catch up with them since we did not get to have lots of time with them during the wedding.
Many previous posts I have shared that I could live in any of the places we had been visiting. This one I am not so sure. Boy was it hot while we were there!
Overall it was just a relaxing few days where we caught up on some sleep and prepared ourselves for the camping adventures ahead!
