Draper, UT

After we had loaded up and cleaned our home we set out on the road to hit our first stop. About 40 minutes later we pulled into Daniel’s parents home in Draper, UT. This stop was kind of the rest and recuperation stop on our trip. We were so tired after packing up and we still needed to plan a few things out about our trip.
On Sunday night we had a nice dinner with the parents and Summer and Alex. It was kind of strange not to have a friend or two since there always seems to be someone visiting one member of the family. Nevertheless we had a nice night being with each other. Alex took Daniel and Dakota out for a photo shoot and I got a nice picture of my boy and his dog.
We also got to go to dinner with one of Daniel’s old mission companions Chris. We decided to go to a Thai place which I was a little nervous about. Daniel got curry and I got orange chicken and they were both pretty good. It was nice to catch up with Chris. He has some plum trees so he gave us some plum jam which we are excited to use. He also recently decided to keep some bees so we were lucky enough to get some honey from his labors. It is pretty tasty.
It was a fun couple days in Draper and we are all ready to get on the road and start our adventure.
